Custom software, real-time video processing, dancer
A performance with Chantal Yzermans of the Belgian dance ensemble Radical Low, at Merce Cunningham Dance Studio, NYC. Images of the dancer are captured, processed and projected on the dance space.
The video acts as a real-time Greek chorus to the performer, providing a record of what has occurred, expanding on what is occurring, and hinting at what is to come.
